thisisourwedding.co.uk is a small UK service run by Tim Biddle. It does one thing: gives couples a short link and QR code for their invitations that they can point wherever they like.
Why it exists
Wedding website builders give you long addresses that are awkward to type from a card, and if you change website after the invitations go out, every printed address is wrong. A short link you control fixes both: guests type a few letters, and when plans change you change where the link goes, not the cards.
How it's run
- Payments are taken by Stripe, which sells on our behalf through Link and handles any tax. We never see your card details.
- Links are served from Cloudflare's global network, so they open quickly wherever your guests are.
- Safety: every destination is checked with Google's safety service when it's set and regularly afterwards, so short links can't be used to send guests somewhere harmful.
- Privacy: no cookies, no advertising trackers, and we don't record anything about your guests. Your email address is used only for your receipt and to let you manage your link. See our privacy notice.
Our promises
- A full refund within 14 days of buying, for any reason.
- Change where your link goes as often as you like, at no extra cost.
- Cancel a monthly link any time; it keeps working to the end of the month you've paid for.
- If your link is unavailable for a significant time through our fault, we'll put it right or refund a fair share.
The full details are in our terms.
